Privacy Policy
Draft — last updated October 2026.
What we collect
Your name (if you give it), your email address (if you give it or sign in with it), your ORION ID or passkey public key (never your fingerprint or face data, which stay on your device), the requests you make, the apps you build, your coin balance and purchase history, and basic technical logs (IP address, browser or app version) used to keep the service secure.
How we use it
To run your account, build and host your apps, process payments, prevent abuse and support you. We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
Payment processing: Paystack when you buy coins on the website; Apple when you buy in the iPhone and iPad app; Google Play when you buy in the Android app (Google tells us the order number, the product and whether it is paid, never your card or bank details); email delivery (Resend) to send your sign-in codes, receipts and account emails; AI providers that process your build requests and Ask ORION messages; Expo (expo.dev), which receives a phone app's code, and the signing certificate and profile ORION makes with your Apple developer key, when you ask ORION to build its iPhone version; hosting providers that run the service. Each receives only what it needs.
ORION for Chrome and ORION EX (the browser extensions)
The same applies to both: ORION for Chrome, and ORION EX on Mac, iPhone and iPad (installed with the ORION EX app, which itself collects nothing). The extension does nothing until you connect it to your ORION Build account and send ORION a message. When you do, it reads only the tab you are working in: the page's title, address and visible text, a numbered list of its buttons, links and fields, a screenshot of the part you can see, and the titles and addresses of the tabs open in that window. That is sent over HTTPS to ORION Build and to the AI provider that answers, only to carry out what you asked, and your messages are saved to your Ask ORION conversation in ORION Build. It never reads, stores or types passwords, PINs or payment card numbers, it never reads your browsing history, cookies or other sites in the background, and it never sells or shares this data for advertising. The extension keeps only its own connection key and your chat state in your browser; "Disconnect this browser" removes them.
If you sign in with your email, we send a one-time 6-digit code to it; the code works once and expires after 10 minutes, and only a verified email signs in to an account. When an account first has an email, we send one welcome email that explains how ORION Build and coins work. We also email you about payments and your account. We never sell or share your email for advertising.
The ORION Build app (iPhone and iPad)
The app uses the same account and data as the website. It keeps only its own sign-in key, in your device's Keychain; signing out removes it. Apps you build open in Safari, not inside the app. The app has no ads and no tracking.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time: in the iPhone and iPad app, Account → Delete account; on the website and in the Android app, Account → Devices & sign-in → Delete account, or at orionhud.org/delete-account.html; or through Support. Deleting erases your name, email and sign-ins, signs you out everywhere and removes your apps from the App Market. Unused coins are lost. Payment records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your apps' users
If your app collects data from its own users, you are responsible for telling them how it is used.
Retention and your rights
We keep your data while your account is active and as required by law. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data through Support.
